Clean Solar Solutions have been constant attendees at the UK’s largest annual show since 2013. 2018 saw Clean Solar Solutions exhibit for the first time at the NEC, displaying the UK’s first solar panel cleaning robot. At this year’s Solar & Storage Live event, you will find us near the cafe and restaurant on stand G34, showing off the capabilities of our solar panel cleaning robot, with video footage of solar panel cleaning jobs completed during 2019.
Also, our Managing Director, Steve Williams, will be chairing the Thursday morning ‘Energy Storage’ speaking session. This will start at 9:55am and you can see below for subjects that will be discussed.*
Steve will also be speaking on Thursday 18th in the Solar Tech & Installation stream at 2:40pm on the subject “Eutrophication & Lichen Growth on U.K. Solar Panels”. He will explain what eutrophication and lichen are, the impact lichen has on solar panels and how the newly-launched Clean Solar Solutions solar panel cleaning consultancy service will benefit both asset owners and managers. The chief focus is optimising cleaning schedules on existing assets and examining designs of future assets to allow for safe access for cleaning and other maintenance.
Steve has also been shortlisted for the Solar Industry Innovator of the Year award to be held at the Hilton Metropole. It is the biggest evening on the U.K. solar industry calendar. Steve has been shortlisted specifically for his forward-thinking approach to solar panel cleaning globally. His approach has seen Clean Solar Solutions bring the UK’s first solar panel cleaning robot for clients and also his detailed research into why lichen grows on solar panels and it’s effects is world first research. We hope to add to our O&M Provider of the Year award which we won in 2017.
Thursday 18th September may well be the biggest day and night of Steve’s career in the solar industry so far. We wish him all the best.
Please feel free to come and chat to us on Stand G34 at the solar & Storage Live event. We look forward to welcoming you.
